Gus Bowen is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Business Degree majoring in Finance. In addition to his new career in commercial real estate, Gus has interests and hobbies that range from surfing to fly fishing and climbing as well as piano. As a respite from finance classes during his senior year of college he chose an elective in ceramics and quickly discovered a talent and love for the touch of clay and the soothing rhythm of the potter’s wheel. Under the expert instruction of Virginia Scotchie, renown ceramics artist and professor, Gus has explored a variety of techniques with materials and glazes. The results are some of these unique pieces that we are excited to offer you.
