Pack's hip portraits feature minimal backgrounds, allowing his vibrant palette and groovy compositions to take center stage. A surreal perspective, a la Thomas Hart Benton, gives his figures an animated quality that suggests movement and rythmn. Pack earned a BFA from the University of Utah and teaches art therapy for adolescents struggling with addictions. The Salt Lake City Public Arts Board commissioned Pack for a large public art mural that can be seen on State Street and his artwork is exhibited in a number of live music venues.
