Gillian approaches her art practice with confidence and whimsy. Preferring to work with acrylics and watercolor, her works show everyday landscapes as well as fantastical scenes from her imagination. These scenes sometimes take on a storybook quality and include personified animals like a family of royal lions, a swan princess, singing butterflies, and dancing frogs, often attending parties and other special events. Her work is precise and ordered, with simple but finely rendered details. Gillian has wanted to be a professional artist since she was little and is very proud to have her work exhibited. She hopes the people who enjoy her art are inspired to go create on their own, because she believes that art can make anyone feel as happy as it makes her.
