Cynthia Knapp’s paintings and works on paper are musings on the inter-relationship of natural forms. Whether the subject matter is abstract or has a more figurative reference the major intent is for me to create a visual dialog, a mediation between seeming autonomous forms, and keep it constantly in play. This intercession happens while constructing and editing visual elements into a symbiotic balance.
