BioNatalie Ciccoricco is a Dutch collage artist, living inCalifornia. After moving to the United States in 2012,Natalie started making mixed media collages andillustrations inspired by her new surroundings. She hasshown art in juried shows at various renowned galleries,such as the Yosemite National Park Museum Gallery,the Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek, STUDIO Galleryin San Francisco and La Luz de Jesus in L.A. Her workis characterized by her use of embroidery thread incombination with other materials such as old books,magazines, photographs and other ephemera. Artist Statement Natalie Ciccoricco’s mixed media collages are original,analog works that mainly consist of embroidery threadand found images, which she uses to weave togethernew narratives on paper. By re-using old materials, it isher hope to give them a new life and meaning.
