Born in 1976, Banswara, Rajasthan, India. I have completed Masters in Painting (Fresco) from Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan. I moved to Delhi in 2002 and continuously worked on experimenting with different materials. My prominent solo and two-person shows are: ‘Frame of Mind’, All India Art and Craft Society, New Delhi and ‘Contemporary Colours’, Kamalnayan Bajaj Gallery, Mumbai. In 2015 I was the finalist of EAY award Glenfiddich Bestcollegeart. com. I was also selected as one of the finalists of The Luxembourg Art Prize in 2018 and got selected for exhibition (call for artist 2018) at Gallery Korea, Korean Culture Center of New York.Artist Statement:My work is about the stories of the forgotten and expressively deals with political issues of the past and present. It’s not about representing my own stories, I try to link with millions of other people’s stories. A sense of empathy with the people and human situations affected by the decisions of political greed especially on children and women. I treat them as something to overcome and to communicate with other people.
