Taryn Boals was born in the small town of Orangeville, Illinois surrounded by farmland, horses, and open skies. Growing up in the country inspired her to develop a passion for art and a dedication to drawing from an early age. After years of artistic practice, Taryn earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Montana State University in 2008 followed by an MFA in Painting from Northern Illinois University in 2012.Over the years, Taryn has developed a painterly style all her own. Her aesthetic strikes a balance between the rich traditional, themes of western art, and a fresh interpretation that is tailored for a contemporary audience. She draws inspiration from the sweeping vistas surrounding her home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; the vast Teton mountain range, awe-inspiring wildlife, and the thriving artistic community feed her desire to create daily.Taryn continues make her mark as an emerging artist in the Jackson area.
