A R T I S T S T A T E M E N T My artistic expression and challenge are to refine the human figure to basic and almost geometric forms. I love to use simple body postures and language to portray an emotional idea or story. All of my bronze works are an expression of human emotion and connection. My little couples and families convey an inseparable bond that forms as a result of deep love and sense of togetherness. I have spent years and created hundreds of sculptures in the pursuit of the beauty found in refined forms that capture the essence of this connection. It is my hope that viewers feel their own experiences, perceptions and passions reflected in my sculptures. B I O G R A P H Y Yenny is a German born artist and has exhibited her sculptures internationally. As an artist she is deeply inspired by nature. Yenny views her art as a personal investigation into nested interconnected systems. It is the investigation into the importance of familiar subjects that allows her to materialize her perceptions of consciousness. The process of creating her sculptures is something she finds very rewarding as it allows her to transform her internalized feelings into physical. She feels her work becomes the witness to a visual truth within the artistic discussion of her life. Yenny introduced her romantic bronze couples with various finishes recently. Each couple is sculpted and then cast using the traditional lost wax method.
