Anne Francey is a visual artist who works in painting, ceramic and video, and has shown her work in the US and abroad. A native of Switzerland, she studied art at ECAL in Lausanne before moving to the US, where she earned an MFA from Hunter College in NY. She is the recipient of several grants from the New York State Council of the Arts for collaborative and community art projects and murals. Most recently, she was granted a Fulbright Scholar award to create a community mural in Tunisia. Anne Francey lives and works in Saratoga Springs, NY. She has taught drawing, painting, ceramics, Islamic art design and visual concepts at Skidmore College and other universities and institutions.
