My paintings are layered, living spaces of memory and intuition, built slowly over time to reveal both what has been, and what is yet to come. Each canvas carries the traces of its own becoming - scratches, scraped marks, and thick applications of paint preserve fragments of gestures long past. Layers emerge and recede, some veiled in transparent washes, others revealed in bold, physical marks, creating a tension between concealment and revelation. The surface becomes a landscape of time itself, a record of presence, absence, and the fragile passage of life. Forms rise, like mental architecture, structures of thought, and memory, that evoke contemplation and reflection. The paintings are at once intimate and expansive, holding personal histories, while opening towards something more universal. Through the physicality of the paint, the scars and layers speak of endurance, persistence, and quiet insistence of lived experience. The layered spaces seem to pulse with possibility, drawing the eye in the mind into subtle rhythms of discovery. Each work becomes a meditation on perception, process, and presence- a dialogue between memory and the moment, between what is revealed, and what remains hidden.
