Alabama native Casey Downing has been awarded over forty-five public commissions for sculpture throughout the Southeast, including numerous cities in Alabama. Downing's work has been featured in large national markets like Washington, D.C., and New York City, as well as internationaldestinations such as Toronto, and Singapore. His thirty-six-year career includes numerous solo exhibitions, fellowship grants, and juried shows. Downing is included in the publication "Alabama Masters,” published by the Alabama State Council on the Arts. His work can be found in many private collections as well as in numerous public institutions and museums. The artist lives and works in Mobile, Alabama.
