Vocational History 2005 Faculty Manager/PA – Currently working as the Faculty Manager for ‘Te Toi Whakarei Paetahi’ Arts & Visual Culture Faculty at Te Whare Wananga O Awanuiarangi and also PA to the Head of Faculty. Project Coordinator – ‘Cultural Collision!’ U.S.-N.Z. arts workshop/residency and exhibition Initiated and coordinated ‘Cultural Collision!’, invited 14 U.S. artists consisting of practising artists, arts professors and students from various universities and art schools from around the U.S.A. to Mangere South Auckland to work alongside and exhibit with 16 local Auckland artists. 2004 Project Coordinator – ‘Toi Whenua’ Auckland Maori Arts Wananga Contracted by Auckland City Council and in liason with the Maori Arts advisors from the 4 Auckland regional councils, to coordinate the first ‘Toi Whenua’ Maori Arts Wananga planned to be an annual event. Invited as a visiting scholar at the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona U.S.A. 2004 – 2000 Secretary for ‘Nga Puna Waihanga O Tamaki Makaurau’ – Auckland Maori Artists Group. Involved in regular regional hui, exhibitions, workshops etc as well as secretarial duties. 1999 Invited to be a Judge for the 2000 millenium Gisborne Telecom Art Award.
