My career as an artist began 30 years ago when I was working freelance as a Director of Photography and Photographer. As I began to explore my personal work as a photographer I felt I wanted my work to have more layered detail and to try and tell a deeper story. I use photography, acrylics, plexiglass on wood frames. I am drawn to florals where the flower has just begun to wither. This to me is a metaphor for the impermanence of beauty and frailty of perfection.
