(1951 - ) Larry Fodor studied at Orange Coast College and received a BFA from Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles, California where he also did graduate work towards his MFA in printmaking. Fodor's work is exhibited and collected extensively in private and public collections including; the Lannan Foundation in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and recently by the Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas, among others. In addition to a studio art career as a painter and printmaker he has done interior residential design and graphic design. Artist StatementI paint. In doing so, I venture towards an intellectual, intuitive and emotional balance in a journey of self-discovery and communication with the world around me. This journey opens doors to the subconscious, allowing passage into the past where I revisit the deep recesses of memory. *
