North Carolina I have sought a path for creativity for as long as I can remember. Wood is what I prefer to work with and have done so for over 40 years. Most of my experience comes from a career in custom home construction so transitioning from that to wood art was a smooth transition for me. I feel a connection to the wood and the forms that can be made from it. Seeing and feeling something take shape from a raw chunk of wood is always a thrill that I never seem to tire of. I am drawn toward organic shapes and textures and find myself constantly experimenting with different ideas, not all a success but every one of them a learning experience.
