Max Mitchell’s journey with cardboard art began in childhood, fueled by the creativity of crafting handmade toys for his brother. His passion for the medium deepened through his participation in "Home is Where the Art Is," an empowering arts program for the unhoused sponsored by Columbus's own Bo Bartlett Center and SafeHouse Ministries. Every unique piece Max creates is infused with meticulous thought, patience, and heart. Now living independently in the historic Bibb City area of Columbus, Georgia, Max’s studio practice is directly sustained by patrons like you. Your acquisition of his work not only allows him to continue honing his distinct craft but actively champions a story of resilience, hope, and artistic triumph in our community. Max Mitchell is a contemporary artist proudly represented by Highland Galerie in Columbus, Georgia.
