Max Mitchell's love for cardboard art began in childhood as he used his creativity to make cardboard toys for his brother. His love of cardboard art and painting grew in his involvement with the "Home is Where the Art Is" arts program for the homeless sponsored by the Bo Bartlett Center and the Rose Hill Safe House. Max is now living on his own in the Bibb City area of Columbus, GA. He is currently working part-time with Helen Brooks Art and is receiving training in art and simple trades as he assists artists in the Mill District Studios in their daily work. Max puts lots of thought, time, and heart into crafting each unique piece that he creates.
