B I O G R A P H Y Linda grew up traveling quite a bit with her Foreign Service family. She attended a boarding High School where Robin Spry Campbell introduced her to the study of sculpture. Later, after forays into anthropology, she ended up at the Art Students League as a student of sculptor Sidney Simon. Linda feels she owes Sidney a lot in terms of helping shape her career as an artist. Linda eventually settled in the west where she feels at home. She has a spiritual connection to the land out west and is happy to make it her physical home as well. Linda feels lucky to be living in a place she loves in a town that has its own fine-art foundry. The beauty of the mountains and the landscapes inspires her. The wildlife and the domestic animals, especially horses, that populate the area are an endless source of inspiration to her as well.
