Dennis Wells is a contemporary artist living and working in Richmond, Virginia. He works in all mediums but his primary focus is on acrylic paintings and pen and ink. He left his teaching career and began the full time pursuit of his art in 2013. With a distinct cubist influence, his work frequently features bright colors with strong line work. His work is an attempt to display the thoughts that flash through his mind as he observes the world. He has done many murals and public sculptures and his work can be found in public and private collections as well.
