After spending over a decade as a full-time CG animator, Nate Ross made a career out of telling stories through motion and time. Ross’ background is in film visual effects, working on projects such as The Last Jedi. But with painting he realized he can capture a single moment. Working with oil and gouache paint, Ross focuses on scenes of city life from the hustle-bustle, to the quiet and intimate. Although mainly a self-taught painter, Ross has benefited greatly from the guidance of his partner Lindsey Kustusch and the help of other fellow painters he has met along the way. His work has been featured in galleries from California to Virginia, of the United States.
