Daphne Covington creates intuitive, abstract oil paintings on canvas and paper, finishing each piece with confident mark making in charcoal and oil pastels. Even as a child, she knew she would become an artist. As stated by Daphne, "around the age of eight, I began signing my works 'Daphne the Artist' and 'Daphne the Great.' I have pursued that dream, completely self-taught, since that time."
