Jennifer Sparacino was born in 1982 and raised in a rural town east of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Creativity and self-expression have been an important part of her life. Countless hours spent in nature have also been a substantial influence. Her formal training as an artist includes Capilano University’s IDEA program, where she studied graphic design, commercial Illustration and Fine art, graduating in 2007. Painting has become her full time passion. Between 2006 and 2010, Jennifer expanded her knowledge of painting in workshops with several artists through the Federation of Canadian Artists. Mike Svob, Amanda Jones and Robert Genn number among her influences. Jennifer continues to work at developing her unique style and interpretations of various subjects. Her work reflects her love of nature, animals and the human experience. Jennifer is committed to achieving a balance between craftsmanship, spontaneity and personal expression. She hopes her work will convey to the viewer her love of nature and of life itself.
