Ilia Boyarov was born in 1987 in Sofia. He graduated in “Art metal” from the National School of Applied Arts “Saint Luke” and afterwards in “Metal” from the National Art Academy. In his bachelors (2010) and masters (2012) years he was working in prof. V. Minekov and prof. B. Nikolov’s classes. In 2013 he returned to the School of Applied Arts but this time as a teacher, teaching “Art metal” and Combinatorics. He worked as a sculptor while he was still a student in the Art school both on his projects and in the studios of his professors. As a freelance sculptor with a distinct personal style and artworks, Ilia Boyarov is working with clients from Bulgaria, Italy, UK and USA. His works are part of private collections and Art galleries in Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo and Ahtopol.
