"After 21 years in the Navy, Hawaiʻi was an ideal place to stay close to the ocean. A serendipitous encounter with a furniture maker introduced her to the colorful world of stained glass. It was love at first sight. Another chance encounter lead to her taking fused glass classes at the Honolulu Museum of Art. Although circumstances continue to change, the love of glass, water and fabulous colors of Hawaiʻi remain.
