Brenda Cablayan is best known for her bold colorful beach scenes, landscape and urbanscape paintings inspired by the effects of shadows and light. Originally from the Netherlands and growing up in California, she used drawing as childhood entertainment. That later evolved into a love for drawing and leather creations.Being strong in illustrations, she returned to school to study commercial art and became fascinated with fine art and color. Brenda became a full time painter after doing product illustrations for a major department store. Her paintings have become a part of many private and public collections worldwide.
