"Aloha is much more than a greeting. The Art of Aloha encompasses all of life; the love, the joy, the expansion, the movement and the growth we experience and share daily. In Hawaiʻi, we see aloha everyday in a land teeming with the lushness of creation. Itʻs this amazing life force, this Living Aloha, that I choose to express through my art. From the presence of the ever-moving trade winds to the dropping of withered blooms that last but a day, I am constantly reminded to live life to the fullest-and then to let it go. Tomorrow is another day. When I paint, I connect very deeply with the essence, with the aloha of my subject. I feel the intrinsic, absolute beauty before me. Collectors are drawn to my work for this reason, reporting they not only see, but actually feel the life force of the beauty emanating from my art.
