Jacob Burmood has been sculpting professionally since 1999. He has worked in stainless steel, aluminum, ceramic and bronze, but his preferred medium is cast resin with a metal finish. Jacob earned his Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS. He previously instructed in sculpture in the Art Department at Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, KS. Prior to that he instructed in sculpture at Missouri State University, Springfield, MO.
