An endless listing of gallery representation, art shows, commissions and public art grants fills out a very rewarding career in ceramics. Nick Everett is an avid traveler and anthropologist who brings global influences into the studio and synthesizes contemporary art and architecture into the porcelains. After his intense and lengthy apprenticeship in the family’s production studio, Nick now incorporates his own designs, color-palette, and energy that brings the studio into the future. These Contemporary Porcelains are unique wheel thrown one of a kind clay pieces, finished with 20 layers of studio formulated engobes, vitreous slips and stains painted over a highly textured surface. The result is three dimensional installations of abstract expression for one’s fine art collection.
