I got into ceramics in the mid 1990's when I took ceramic classes at Windward Community College with my now husband Professor Paul Nash. I took a 17-year break but got back into clay in 2012 when I reconnected with Nash.
I like using the pottery wheel but really enjoy the hand building process and creating a canvas to make patterns using different tools; both man-made and natural objects.
We have a great home studio in the foothills of the beautiful Ko'olau mountains of Kāneʻohe, which is truly an inspiration to create art, where I do all of my work.
