Lisa Weiss was born & raised in the Southern US and comes from a family of artists. She received a MFA in painting & drawing from Louisiana State University. Her work has been exhibited nationally in solo and group shows for the past fifteen years. She is included in numerous public collections in the US and private collections throughout the globe. Lisa is honored with being in the Hunter Museum permanent collection in Tennessee. She has taught drawing, painting and design at several national universities and has attended a handful of artist residencies. Lisa is devoted to the study of yoga. She has traveled extensively in the United States, Mexico and Europe. She creates and lives in Murray, Kentucky with her partner Daryl and orange tabby Friendly. My best goes out to everyone.
