I don’t find myself creating until I see a purpose to tell a story. Growing up in New York, a lot of my earlier works were inspired and influenced by Asian (Japanese) and American cartoons. From speed racer to dumbo, I wanted to create works that reflected my childhood with sophistication. As I progressed, so did my identity in my later works.
