Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Frances Werry graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Double Honours in Studio Art and Art History. She lived in Ontario for several years where she worked in a variety of museums and galleries and received training in art conservation. Since the late 1990s, she has had a studio practice in Regina.Frances enjoys working in oils in her large scale paintings in order to capture the richness and luminosity of the prairie sky.
