Nathan CyprysToronto, OntarioPhotographer Nathan Cyprys is an award winning photographer and interdisciplinary artist based in Toronto Canada. He graduated from the Ontario College of Art & Designs' Photography program in 2010. While studying there, Cyprys says his work "explored the ephemeral, alienation and transitory states; always rooting itself to [his] own understanding of the human condition". Nathan's art practice is both conceptual and documentary based in approach, ranging from capturing landscapes of the United States on a large format camera, to shooting portraiture and still-life in a studio environment. Cyprys's work has been awarded by PDN, American Photography and The Magenta Foundation. Some of his clients include Nike, Hudson's Bay Company, Porter Air, The Globe & Mail and Fast Company. When not creating films and photographs, Nathan can usually be found writing music or riding his bicycle.
