From my earliest childhood memories, cars have been my constant fascination. I recall cruising in my father’s Toyota 2000GT, spotting a sleek white Jaguar E-Type across the intersection, and absorbing every detail my dad shared about it—the anticipation, the thrill, the stories that revolved around automobiles. It was this childhood introduction that set the course for my life's passion—a relentless dedication to all things automotive. This fervor reached its zenith when I received a gift—a book about racecars. As I flipped through its pages, I stumbled upon an image that halted my world and ignited my heart with an unprecedented fervor: the Ferrari 330 P4. The sheer magnificence of its design left me awestruck. I marveled at the idea that human hands had crafted such a masterpiece. It was then that I realized, someone not only designed those curves but also had the privilege of driving it!Although my journey eventually led me to professional racing, this juncture holds significance in relation to this website and very likely, your presence here.During my teenage years, I raced motorcycles professionally until my strong-willed Latin mother, whom I adore, insisted that I take a hiatus and pursue further studies. Growing up, my hours were consumed by sketching cars—dreaming and visualizing my life as a racing driver—thus honing my artistic skills. As fate would have it, this passion guided me to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, where I immersed myself in transportation design, a fancy term for car design. It was at the Art Center that I picked up paintbrushes for the first time, predictably crafting paintings of—you guessed it—racing cars. Painting became an integral part of my life until I shifted my focus when I became a parent to two beautiful canines. Yes, you read that right—dogs, not kids. In short, after the passing of my last furry companion in 2017, I found myself pondering the canvas once more. Seeking solace from the quiet absence of a dog-filled home, I rekindled my passion for painting. It wasn’t without struggle; my brushstrokes and dexterity had dulled. Yet, with unwavering dedication, my skills gradually resurfaced, leading me to where I stand today.I acknowledge my immense fortune in curating a life deeply intertwined with cars. Whether it's designing, driving, racing, mentoring aspiring drivers, executing stunt driving feats, or crafting paintings that resonate with fellow car enthusiasts, I find myself consistently immersed in the world of cars—a perpetual echo of my childhood fervor. As I shared at the outset, cars truly define the essence of my life.
