Joe Wade is a self taught American folk artist from New Orleans, Louisiana. Born and raised in Duncan, Oklahoma, Joe worked for a privately owned oil business for over 35 years and left the company to pursue his dream of painting.Joe is a lover of the outdoors, from the farms of Oklahoma, to the Bayous of Louisiana, and the summers in Aspen, Colorado. His inspiration comes from nature and his family memories in the outdoors. Joe paints daily and loves every minute of it.When he doesn’t have his paint brush in his hand, you will find him cuddling his miniature poodle, Cissy.
