Since childhood, Beth has had a passion for jewelry. It wasn’t until she was an adult that she pursued her dream of studying jewelry making and design. She trained with the goldsmiths at the Jewelry Arts Institute and has mentored under other great masters such as David Butler and Fred de Vos. Beth’s designs are rich and bold. Her signature style includes detailed textures and her inspiration comes primarily from nature as well as other shapes and textures she finds in her daily life. She loves to combine different metals which is reflected in many of her designs. Most of her designs are initially created in wax and then cast into metal to create the final piece of wearable art. In Beth’s words, “I find it personally appealing when the jewelry worn fits the individual in such a seamless way that it complements the person's mood or personality - be it low-key or flamboyant.”
