P. A. Jones has painted all her life. Growing up amid the asphalt and clamor of Los Angeles, she always yearned for a place both quiet and beautiful. A lifelong search for that perfect place led her to many impressive places in California, New Mexico, Washington, Arizona, Texas, and Oregon. Having relocated to just outside of Victor, Montana, she finds herself surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Bitterroot Valley. Her studio sits amid 110 acres of rolling pasture, her views encompassing ponds, streams and wide-open views of sunrises and sunsets. It is her hope, as a painter, to capture the moment where the light makes you stop and take a second look. Her goal is to have her paintings evoke a memory, a sense of life and nature that goes a little beyond reality.
