Katarzyna Adamiak - Jaśnikowska (born in 1985) is a contemporary realistic painter, she paints in traditional oil technique. In his works, he focuses on human figure and portrait, and light is the most important creative imperative for the artist herself. He creates intimate, moody portraits, full of personal and emotional analysis of the person presented. The artist carefully selects the heroes of her work, using an emotional bonds to even deeper involvement in the creative process. Kate often takes up the subject of a self -portrait. For the painter herself, this is a way to look into her inner world, reflection on her own feelings and mood, expression and consolidation of changes that occur in it. The artist is a finalist of many international painting competitions such as the prestigious Art Renewal Center (14, 15 and 16 edition) or Modportrait 2017, 2019. She presented her works in galleries and museums in Europe. Several painter's paintings are digitally represented in Lunar Codex, which is an international collection of contemporary culture placed on the surface of the moon in three time capsules.
