Jessica Libor is an American artist creating work about the feminine protagonist forging her own personal mythology. Through using the imagery found in historical folk and fairy tales, she explores the process of self discovery within her heroines. Libor’s surrealistic work is primarily in oils and precious metals. The feminine figure is central in telling a story, with her surroundings often mirroring her state of mind. Libor received her Master of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2014, and has since had her works exhibited at museums, won multiple awards and collected in the US and internationally.
