PEACE. I made other people’s ideas come to life in video games for 15 years. Now I’m dedicated to bringing my own experiences and perspectives to Life!!! Visualizations, social commentary, meditations on reality, possibilities, frustrations, resilience, courage, and encouragement are always thematic arcs and touch points that I visit and revisit to create a tapestry of possibilities, realizations, for my artistic purposes. Hailing from Chicago’s south side, I grew up seeing my community fighting constant outside antagonism for its right to exist in many arenas (real estate, medical care, business, education, politics, etc). This while simultaneously disintegrating from within, due to an eroding and delusional relationship many have with our origins and the dignity that goes along with being my brother or sister’s keeper. Even so, I will not settle for being a reporter of tragedy. A trauma pimp, if you will. When one finger is pointed at an offense, you will find four others pointed at healing, resources, opportunities, and resolutions. Instead I strive to live and share a life that I manifest visually, audibly, and as an example of solutions that can offer a shared understanding, clarity, and thereby PEACE.
