Born and raised near the ocean, Nicolas Caubarrere has painted seascapes and waves since he was very young. His secret is that he paints what he lives. When a place inspires him, he settles there, meets the people, enjoys the environment and surf the ocean. After many years of living on the North Shore of Hawaiʻi and in Tahiti, French Polynesia, he captures the spirit of the islands and reflects it in his art.
