Leigh Deen Francis is a glass artist specializing in the creation of kiln-formed glass art. A native Mississippian, Leigh's art is inspired by the wonder and beauty of natural surroundings where peace and comfort can always be found. Her sculptures are formed by kiln firing multiple layers of glass, creating texture and depth of vibrant color that interact with light to produce luxurious works of art that enhance any setting. Her glass vessels are uniquely shaped through the use of molds sculpted by hand. Creating from her studio in Starkville, Mississippi, Leigh is a self-taught artist, continually learning and discovering new ways to transform glass, enamel and heat into objects of beauty that capture the heart as well as the imagination. Her glass creations can be found in commercial spaces and residential homes across the U.S.
