Jasmine was born in Lares, Puerto Rico and raised in New York. A multimedia artist, she enjoys working in collage, painting, and digital photography. She is a graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology in Fashion Design with a specialization in Sportswear. She has worked in the garment industry and was honored with the Juan Eugene Ramos Hispanic Designers Award. Jasmine creates fashion collections and textiles using computer-aided design (CAD). She is inspired by the great masters of fashion design Oscar de la Renta and Karl Lagerfeld. Says Jasmine, “I love fashion – that's why I do it. It’s a real love affair.”
