Catherine has studied art for as long as she can remember. She attended a high school that specialized in art studies and holds an AA degree from the Professional College of Animation in Moscow. She has studied painting and drawing at Bridgeview Art Academy in Queens. She is fond of depicting subjects drawn from nature, such as landscapes and still lifes, and she finds the spring and fall seasons particularly inspiring. Catherine's preferred medium is acrylic on canvas or paper, and she has experimented with pastels and charcoal on pastel paper.
