(1922 - 2001) Southwestern watercolorist Douglas Ballard moved to New Mexico in 1945. Through his exceptional imagery, Ballard brings the history of Pueblo Culture, and their architecture, to life. Douglas subtle use of color and shadow, as well as his control of light, take the viewer back in time to places that still remain part of the history of New Mexico. Douglas Ballard found both private and corporate collectors throughout his lifetime.
