Paul Rodriguez is a printmaker from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Printmaking is in his blood as both of his parents have produced prints professionally since the 1970s and taught at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes. He began learning a wide range of printmaking applications from them at an early age, and his style and techniques have evolved over the years, one of which he etches images onto silver and copper plates that are transformed into one-of-a-kind wearable jewelry pieces. His work gives us a glimpse into the intricate iconography of Mexican culture with a highly personal style. Paul’s work has been shown in various galleries throughout Mexico, Europe, and the United States.
