Matt Neuman uses geometry as an organizing tool for color. Neuman's work provides an impactful visual experience that can range from high-energy-bold to soft and nuanced. These works on paper redefine the scale and complexity of the woodcut printmaking process. Neuman is able to use printmaking techniques to produce unique original works that push the final image far beyond the conventional definition of an artist’s print. Neuman received an MFA from Boston University in 2011. He lives in Brooklyn and keeps a studio in the Bronx.
