Case Baumgarten graduated with a BFA from Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, D.C. He won a Sculpture Award during his senior thesis show at Corcoran. Baumgarten has been featured in multiple exhibitions in Virginia, North Carolina, as well as internationally: in Cologne and Berlin, Germany. His current work presents the incessant search for lost loved ones. Through abstraction, figuration, and realism, the intention for each of these works is to push the viewer to address images of faith, with haunting emotionalresonance for all those in search of loved ones lost. Baumgarten is currently a professional artist working in Charlotte, NC.
