Although my parents were never militant or religious, I attended a Southern Baptist Military High School in Texas where Leadership development was a class that girls could not attend and dancing was prohibited. From there I attended University of California in Santa Cruz where clothing is optional. I studied art, Spanish and physics for ten years at six universities, some better than others. To name a few- CU Bolder, UT Austin, Bellas Artes in Cuenca Spain, I finally finished with an MFA at Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland then did a residency at the Universita Della Idée at Fondazione Michelangelo Pistoletto in Biella, Italy. Culture and travel have been my inspiration for as long as I can remember. However, now that I have a child, I am thinking that she just might trump all of that for inspiration. I currently live in Austin Texas and spend as much time in San Miguel De Allende and Aspen Colorado as possible. Catalog available to order HERE.
