From Colorado Springs, in 2010, I was in solitary confinement. I overheard some people discussing some racial stereotypes. "Black people can't draw," one said. 'I know, huh?" said the other. I started drawing with the flex pen I could have in administrative segregation and haven't stopped. I will use the funds to buy coffee, art paper, and art supplies.
