Andy England is a Los Angeles based painter and mixed media artist. Receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees in mathematics from UCLA, he began his career outside of the art world. After feeling constrained by the structured, analytical world of math, he pursued a more creative path in art. Working with mentors in the LA area, his art experience has grown through time spent in his home studio, rather than an academic setting. He has recently participated in group exhibitions at ShockBoxx Gallery, Big Waves Gallery, and Carter Sexton and was also a finalist in the Mid-City Artists Project highlighting local talent. He is a member of the Los Angeles Art Association.
